  • Great pictures on your photo galleries. I may add some to one of my favorite sites http://www.boreddaily.com if that is ok!

  • Just came across your site - fantastic photos! For some time now I've been interested in cloud formations and generally irritating everyone around me with it but never really known if others were interested and therefore how best to go about it so decided to finally have a look on-line. I currently use a Cannon PowerShot A620 7.1M-pixel - but I'm hoping that one day in the not-too-distant future I'll be able to get back to an SLR (lack of funds). I've been playing around with the settings to try to get the best out of it, then adjusting the images with The GIMP. Not very good at it yet, but learning all the time. Your images have given me great encouragement to get more proficient. Read your articles, so will have a go.

The recent atrocious weather here in the UK has produced some incredible, spectacular and amazing skyscapes. We had a fantastic one last night - remnants very black clouds with a huge towering one in a reasonably clear sky about 6:30pm, but the sun low behind it, so it was casting a long shadow onto the underside of the higher clouds above it. I've got quite a nice collection of images now that one day I'll get round to putting online for all to see.

  • Clouds have been inspiring me for years, I love the changes weather brings. I love that beauty comes and goes in a flash and you are so talented and so appreciated for capturing that beauty forever. I will definitly be purchasing some prints, again and again. Thanks for doing what you do.

  • Beste Harald,
    Prachtige foto's, goede uitleg.
Groet, Conny
    [Conny Tummers - Rotterdam - Sunday, July 1, 2007, 06:12:55 EDT]

  • Beste Harald,

Great photos, to, btw. I love how diverse your photos are. I am hoping to get into photojournalism and landscape photography, so seeing your "Landscape" section was a great help!

  • Enjoyed viewing your many brilliant photos. I am somewhat of an amateur photographer. It has been colder than usual here in the Bay Area, hence I thought an icicle image hanging down at the top our Jacklin Corners Newsletter would be a great eye-catching image.

  • What an exquisite website! I discovered you through a link from A-Word-a-Day (you were providing an example of a "Virga"). While browsing your beautiful photographs, I discovered the term for a lovely phenomenon I observed several days ago: a Light Pillar seen during a spectacular winter sunrise. I've always been fascinated by the sky, especially clouds. There are so many beautiful natural phenomena to see that I never knew existed. Thank you for showing me many new "Edens"!
